WHY I FOUNDED WATCHMEN
Called to equip those who protect others.
A few years ago, I began helping members of my church’s Security and Safety teams with basic firearms training and practice. It quickly became clear to me that there was a greater need within the church security community—not just for basic firearms proficiency, but for more advanced, disciplined, and purpose-driven training.
As I continued working with these men and women, I began praying about how I could better serve them. Through that prayer, I felt God calling me to take a more active role in equipping those who have accepted the responsibility of protecting their congregations.
Watchmen Tactical Solutions grew out of that calling.
My goal is to provide church Security and Safety teams with professional firearms, medical, and protective training that develops competence, sound judgment, discipline, and a servant’s heart. This is more than learning how to use a firearm. It is about preparing men and women to protect life, serve others faithfully, and carry the responsibility of a protector with humility and purpose.

Eric Hostetter is a proud Christian husband, father, and grandfather, a U.S. Army veteran, and a former competition shooter. His approach to training is grounded in faith, disciplined preparation, responsible stewardship, and the preservation of life.
Eric is a C.S.A.T. Certified Master Firearms Instructor and a Refuge Medical partner and instructor. Through Watchmen Tactical Solutions, he is committed to developing skilled, disciplined, and dedicated protectors who are prepared to serve others responsibly.
